Lisa Richards
Lisa RichardsLisa Richards is a wife, mother, animal lover, food enthusiast and believer in positive social change. She has been teaching Vinyasa yoga classes since 2000 and is known for her free-spirited sense of humor and straight forward approach to Yoga. Over the years she has inspired many students and helped them demystify yoga so that it can be practically applied to their everyday lives. Through teaching, Lisa encourages students to tap into their inner courage, have faith and to test their boundaries. She believes Yoga is one of the greatest metaphors for life—challenging us to be active, present and engaged while staying relaxed in the flow of life. Lisa lives happily in Denver, Colorado with her husband Nick, son Sawyer and dog Elvis.

Brandon Cox

Brandon CoxBrandon was introduced to yoga at a very young age by his Aunt, Susan. His Marketing degree landed him a fast-paced job in Denver. Brandon found, as most of us do, that his work was taking over his life. Demands at the office were creating less room for ‘being’. Thanks to the seed planted by his Aunt, he found himself in a hot humid room, getting ready to take his first Bikram class in 1997.

After exploring other styles of yoga, Brandon left his corporate job and traveled to Los Angeles to study with Bikram Choudhury. After over 500 hours of training, Brandon headed up the coast to San Francisco and continued his study with other accomplished yoga instructors. His passion for yoga had transformed into a career, and after returning to Colorado he helped spawn the birth of CorePower Yoga. Brandon draws from his life experience to create an authentic, inspiring voice in the yoga room and the community. Brandon helped bring ‘Sweat For Humanity’ alive in the community. As an owner in CorePower Yoga, and the Colorado Regional Manager, you can find Brandon in Colorado (Boulder) and other regions, teaching workshops and teacher trainings.

Sheri Colosimo
Sheri ColosimoSheri was hooked on yoga after her first hot class. “Yoga has helped me find a sense of peace with myself that I have not received from other fitness classes that I have taken. I am kinder to my body and more patient with others since starting my practice. My practice gives me the opportunity to slow down and really appreciate all the gifts that I have been blessed with.”

Sheri's love of helping others find happiness and health through fitness led her to pursue a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Dayton in Ohio and receive certifications in personal training, cycling, group fitness and Pilates. Sheri considers her greatest strengths to be teaching and staying true to her passions. Shortly after college graduation, Sheri moved to Denver, CO with her husband to pursue a lifestyle that aligned more with her outdoor interests.

Sheri was able to incorporate her passion for programming at CorePower Yoga.  She helped create two Lifestyle Programs for the company: BootCamp and Yogi Training.  In the past year, both programs were successfully rolled out company-wide.  Sheri finds that the Lifestyle Programs are a beautiful complement to a yoga practice as they offer the student the opportunity to take their yoga off the mat and into their lives.

Heather Peterson

Heather PetersonHeather Peterson has excelled at teaching dynamic, inspiring yoga classes, and creating and leading powerful Lifestyle Programs that have been implemented at CorePower Yoga across the country. Her students often comment about her passion for yoga, and for their growth. She has completed rigorous training in India to extend her expertise as a yoga practitioner and teacher, as well as her work in developing Ayurveda and Meditation for the beginning and advanced yoga student and teacher.

In 2004, Heather helped to create the CorePower Yoga Hot Yoga Teacher Training curriculum and lead that program in the first quarter as a manager for CorePower Yoga. She then became adjunct faculty for CorePower Yoga Teacher Training across the country in specialty areas of Sanskrit, Ayurveda, Chakras and Meditation. She then went on to help develop and lead the CorePower Yoga Nutrition Program nationally.

Prior to joining staff at CorePower Yoga, Heather worked 5 years as an Introduction and Seminar Leader for Landmark Education Corporation where she was the longest and youngest consecutive Head Coach for their training programs. She trained over 400 people in the Denver area to lead seminars, and excelled at leading those programs herself.
